My Dog’s Coach offers a variety of services to help build a solid foundation of communication between you and your dog. Our Stay & Train service is a convenient option for those who cannot attend on-site sessions or don’t have the time for in-home training. Private lessons are best for dogs that have specific training needs and require individual attention. In-home training allows you to practice skills and techniques in the comfort of your own home. Stay & Train
Dog training can require a large investment of time, which you may not have. Our Stay & Train service combines multi-week boarding and a comprehensive training course. Let us take over the training responsibilities so we can establish a good foundation of behavior and skills. We can teach basic verbal commands in addition to reducing problematic behaviors. You’ll be able to see a complete evaluation of your dog’s skills at the end of his stay. We also make sure to provide you with the skills and techniques used during your dog’s stay so you can maintain positive behaviors at home. This is a great option for dogs who don’t have any behavior or socialization skills and can be used as a stepping stone to more advanced training.
In-Home Training
If your busy schedule prevents you from attending on-site classes, we suggest our in-home training. You and your dog can enjoy working with our coaches right from your own home. A familiar environment will benefit dogs who are overstimulated by unfamiliar people and dogs. We recommend this service for dogs who are fearful or aggressive in new environments. You and your dog can progress at your own pace and you don’t have to worry about outside distractions. In-home training is appropriate for all ages and skill levels, and we offer flexible scheduling to fit your needs.
Private Lessons
While group sessions are great for socialization skills, your dog may benefit more from private lessons. Our one-on-one coaching allows you to address specific behavioral problems and needs. You don’t have to worry about falling behind, because our private lessons are designed to advance at your pace. These lessons are also a great opportunity to introduce more advanced skills like hand signals or emergency recalls. You’ll learn the best way to communicate with your dog and promote good behaviors and lifelong skills.
